Wow! I can't believe I am 28 years old. I wanted to take some minutes to celebrate and appreciate that on the blog. So here is another basic blogger birthday post.
Every birthday, I like to look back on the year before and reflect. Life has changed so much. I am a wife and a mommy now. Full of responsibilities, I am no longer a care free kite but I am the happiest I have ever been and feel so blessed to be married to a man who loves me unconditionally.
In celebration to my 28th birthday, I thought it would be fun to share 28 random facts that you may or may not know about me. So I hope you enjoy reading my little list below.
28 Random facts about me:
1. I don't have a drivers license in the United States
2. I am 5 feet 4 inches tall
3. I hate being late. It stresses me out
4. I once fell into a cow dung pit
5. I don't know to play any musical instruments
6. I am a trained Bharathanatyam dancer
7. I only speak English and Malayalam. My Hindi is so terrible
8. I hate cooking Indian food
9. I like to pencil sketch
10. My dream was to be a well known athlete but ended up being a Business Analyst
11. I am scared of Dogs
12. I am short-tempered.
13. I am a very fast learner
14. Friends are my weakness
15. My eye color is brown
16. Started learning Spanish
17. I am a Mohanlal fan
18. I don't have any tattoos
19. My favorite flowers are lillies
20. My favorite TV show is "The Office" (till season 7)
21. I am known to have a slightly sarcastic sense of humor
22. I am slightly obsessed with lipsticks. I have far too many!

The morning was busy as usual. I was planning to bake some cupcakes today but got occupied on the phone talking to my friends from India. Thank you all for your lovely wishes. Later, we took Leon out for his first Sun-bath in his ducky tub. He enjoyed it a lot.
We celebrated my birthday in the evening. My sister and her family stopped by to surprise me. Kevin had organized the scavenger hunt. Cute! I have no idea when he got all the time for this. Mondays are usually busy for Kevin. We cut the cake but Leon was in a cranky mood. The scavenger hunt was fun! Got a lot of wonderful gifts especially my favorite lilly flowers.
I am feeling so blessed for all the birthday texts and messages that I have received. Thanks to every one who has made my day so special. I am full of gratitude, as I say thanks to Amma and Pappa for giving me birth. Wish you both were here with me today.
