For my birthday, Kevin decided take me to a luxurious getaway in Cancún, Mexico. He couldn't have chosen a better destination, with its crystal-clear blue beaches and perfect weather, Cancún was the perfect place for me to relax and celebrate another year of life. After extensive research, he booked an all-inclusive stay at one of the best resorts in the area, where we all indulged in delicious food, unlimited cocktails, and enjoyed the resort's many amenities. In this post, I'll take you on a journey through my stay at this amazing resort, and share all the incredible experiences I had during my birthday celebration in paradise.

The Resort
Wyndham Grand Resort Villa is an all-inclusive resort in Cancun that was the perfect choice. The hotel staff was warm and welcoming.
Our villa was spacious and beautifully decorated, with a breathtaking view of the ocean from the balcony.
The resort had several pools, including a swim-up bar and a separate infinity pool that overlooked the ocean. I spent most of my days lounging by the pool and sipping on tropical drinks. The hotel also had a private beach, which was stunning and had plenty of loungers and umbrellas. The resort had a variety of activities and entertainment options throughout the day and night, including beach volleyball, live music, and nightly shows.
The Activities
When planning a vacation, one of the most exciting aspects is choosing what activities to do. In Cancun, there are endless options. We did a Cenote swim and zip lining followed by an ATV ride.
You don't need a camera, there are paparazzi everywhere to take your pictures :)
The Food
As an all-inclusive resort, food and drink were included in our package, and let me tell you, we were not disappointed. The resort had numerous restaurants to choose from, all with different cuisines, and we made it a mission to try them all. The breakfast buffet had everything from made-to-order omelets to fresh fruit and pastries. Lunch could be had at the beach bar, where they served up delicious fish tacos and ceviche.
What I loved most about the food was the quality. Everything tasted fresh and authentic. The chefs clearly put a lot of effort into every dish, and it showed. And if we were ever in need of a mid-day snack, there were plenty of options by the pool.
One thing I do want to mention is that the resort had a few specialty restaurants that required reservations. I highly recommend making these reservations as soon as you arrive because they do fill up quickly.
Overall, I was incredibly impressed with the food at the resort. It definitely exceeded my expectations, and I left Cancun feeling like I had tried some of the best cuisine the city had to offer.
The Price
When it comes to travel, cost is always a major consideration. That's why we opted for an all-inclusive package. we researched different resorts and found one that offered everything I was looking for - beautiful villas, great food, lots of activities, and of course, an incredible beachfront location.
The package I booked included accommodation, all meals and drinks. While the initial cost may seem high, I calculated that it would actually be more cost-effective than booking everything separately. Plus, having everything pre-paid and taken care of allowed us to fully relax and enjoy the vacation without any added stress.
Throughout our stay, we didn't have to worry about extra expenses. I could order as much food and drink as I wanted and simply enjoy the luxury of the resort without any additional fees.

Overall, while the initial cost may seem high, the value of an all-inclusive package is unbeatable. I left Cancun feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and extremely satisfied with the entire experience.
